The map shows 185 industrial enterprises in the inner city of Düsseldorf in 1902. 65 of them work in the iron and steel-industry, 28 in the paint and chemical industry, 27 in the brick and cement industry. There were also 65 other industrial centres, like public utility companies, electricity stations, transport or paper enterprises.
